Melt-blown polyethylene terephthalate (PET) non-woven filter media is commonly used  in a great number of different filter applications. It has high permeation flux and excellent retention capabilities for simultaneous sieving for bacteria and adsorption for viruses. Our company provide light-weight PET meltblown membranes in three different types:

1. Virgin: the membranes/fabrics are produced without any additional treatment, preserving their natural properties. The virgin PET substrate material can be further processed by customer on their own to fit their specific needs, for example, using it as a laminating support layer to combine with other materials for depth filtration. 

2. With Hydrophilic Property: For customers who require hydrophilic properties, specialized technical treatments can be arranged to make the meltblown PET hydrophilic and suitable for general filtration of a variety of aqueous solutions and solvents.

3. With Hydrophobic Property: In cases where customers need hydrophobic properties, we also offer specialized technical treatments to make our the PET meltblown nonwoven hydrophobic and suitable for air filtration, for example, to retain airborne particles, including dust, pollen, and other harmful substances. 

Pore size is an important factor to consider when selecting the appropriate nonwoven fabric for a specific application. We offer pore sizes ranging from 0.5μm ( for air intake) to 5 μm (for liquid filtration). The choice of pore size depends on the specific needs of the application, as larger pores allow for better gas or liquid permeation, while smaller pores provide better retention capabilities.
