Product Description
The environmental air quality data we see in our daily lives come from monitoring stations located throughout various regions. The instruments used by these monitoring stations are part of an atmospheric environment online monitoring system, which utilizes scattering and β-ray methods to monitor and analyze particulate matter and other harmful gases in the environment, transmitting the data through the Clould hub.
Among these, the β-ray method is a very precise way of monitoring particles. This method operates on the principle of β-ray attenuation; ambient air is drawn into a sampling tube by a sample pump, filtered, and then expelled, with particles depositing on the filter membrane. When β-rays pass through the filter membrane laden with particles, their energy attenuates. By measuring this attenuation, the concentration of particles can be calculated. TSP samplers are designed to collect particulate matter with an aerodynamic equivalent diameter of less than or equal to 100μm,which includes all solid and liquid particles suspended in the air.Glass fiber membranes have the following characteristics and are widely used in β-ray particle monitoring instruments, making them an essential consumable membrane in particle monitoring.

Two types of Glass fiber : with binder and without binder
XINNA's glass fiber membranes are made of 100% boronsilicate glass microfibers and feature high flow rates, high retention rates, and a large particle load capacity. They come in two types: with binder and without binder.Both of them can be sterilized by EO, gamma, or autoclave (121 °C at 1 bar).
The version without binder can withstand high temperatures of up to 500°C and is suitable for trace organic chemical analysis. It is applicable for monitoring and sampling pollutants such as TSP (Total Suspended Particulate), PM10, PM2.5, radioactive particles, and automobile exhaust particulates in the air.
The version with binder have superior wet strength and are excellent for qualitative analysis and prefiltration, especially for heavily contaminated liquids. They are also widely used for clarification of aqueous solutions.
